This is not the first time. It will not be the last. And yet they move. Not because it is easy, but because staying has become impossible. The dust around them is not just atmosphere. It is the residue of everything that has already been lost.

The children in this piece are not crying. They are watching. Learning, too early, what it means to leave a place that was supposed to be permanent.

Created from direct experience of displacement and war, this work does not ask for pity. It asks for witness. It asks you to look at what it means to carry your life in your hands and walk toward an uncertain horizon, once again.
